ABOUT THE WORCESTER COUNTY WILDCATS
The Worcester County Wildcats was started in July of 2004 as an opportunity for athletes to participate in football after high school and college. Since 2004 the Wildcats have come miles from its inaugural season at Worcester Academy. In 2007 the Wildcats made the jump from AA to AAA football, highly ranked and competing against New England’s best Semipro football teams.
The Worcester County Wildcats have found a home at Foley Stadium on Chandler Street in Worcester. The Wildcats Football team is supported by its very own Cheer Team consisting of experienced dancers and stunters who have also found a home with the Worcester County Wildcats organization.
The regular Semi-professional season runs from July through September, with post-season play in October. With full concession, bright lights and the speedy turf field, Foley Stadium is one of the best facilities in Central Massachusetts located on 305 Chandler St. in beautiful Worcester.

THINKING ABOUT PLAYING?
If you are 18 and older, have played football in either college, high school or other levels of football, Wildcats semi-professional football is where you need to be. Roster size at this level is 65 with games played on Saturday nights at 630 p.m. This is your chance to once again showcase the talent you once displayed in front of the home crowd! So whether your experience is high school, college, power lifting, basketball or even martial arts, we welcome the opportunity to incorporate your skills.
WHAT'S REQUIRED TO PLAY?
The only requirements to play are as follows:
* Commitment to practices during evening hours twice a week
* Be available for Saturday games both home and away.
* Ability to learn and execute plays on game day.
* The commitment to excellence and ability to train for power and speed.
* Sign paperwork and registration information.
ARE THE WILDCATS ONLY FOOTBALL?
The answer is both yes and no. We are specific to football, however, we also have an AWESOME cheerleading team of 25 girls too! Requirements are:
* Ages 18+
* 1-2 Years Cheer/Dance Experience.
* Attendance for games and appearances.
* Must attend all mandatory practice with the exception of the above listed.
* Sign paperwork and registration information.
CAN I BECOME A PART OF THE TEAM WITHOUT PLAYING?
Absolutely! We welcome anyone interested in volunteering from both practices, games or other events. If you love football and you are 50+ and want to stay involved in the game, Wildcats football is a great experience for everyone. You can commit as little as 1 hour to as much as you wish. (As long as you get some sleep too!)
