On Sunday 9/22/19, the Wildcats battled for the number 1 seed against the Green Valley Blackhawks. The game was full of back and fourth highs and low moments straight through the 4th Quarter and the score was tied 21 - 21. Both teams with less than 2 minutes left were bracing for an over-time battle.
The Wildcats had one more possession and a chance to find the end zone one more time and that they did with a 49 yard Touch down run by #7 Alexander Givins-Perry for a score of 27 - 21.
The Blackhawks still had one more chance to even the score. #6 QB Donahue took two shots down the field. The first one fell short, and the second one bounced off of two player and ultimately landed in the hands of Wildcats #0 Matt Letourneau for the interception and to seal the win and a first round bye with home field advantage throughout.
The Wildcats will officially finish with a 9 -1 record on the season, tied with last years regular season record and another chance at the New England Football Leagues North Atlantic Championship Trophy.
